UNIVERSAL OVERALL
Founded in Chicago in 1924, UNIVERSAL OVERALL is a heritage workwear brand with nearly a century of history. Known for producing rugged, practical, and affordable pieces, the brand has remained true to its roots while adapting to modern needs.







Original Fabric, Developed with Care
The fabric is an original TC twill developed over the course of a year. While the standard golden ratio for TC twill is 35% cotton / 65% polyester, UNIVERSAL OVERALL pursued a more vintage look and cotton-like texture, opting instead for a 34% cotton / 66% polyester blend.



This creates a fabric with subtle sheen and smooth touchrugged yet refined. Its moderate weight makes it suitable year-round, while the fabric develops unique character the more its worn.





A Centennial Update
In 2024, UNIVERSAL OVERALL celebrated its 100th anniversary with the launch of the HERITAGE Line. This model, the RELAX / HT-02, reimagines the brands iconic chino series with modern refinement.



Details include a zip fly, houndstooth stitching at the inner waistband inspired by vintage trousers, and a modern interpretation of the heritage label.



Functional slash pockets at the sides and a single welt pocket at the back complete the design.



The pants feature a recreated tag, faithfully replicating the originals. Stitched on rather than removable, they are intended to be worn as-is.



The buttons are also a faithful revival of those used in the brands early years.



Even the original paper flasher labels have been reproduced, with designs unique to each silhouetteallowing you to experience the atmosphere of the originals in full.





Defined by Double Pleats
The design features two pleats at the waist for volume, tapering cleanly toward the hem for a refined silhouette. The result balances workwear authenticity with a polished, modern look.

Triboelectric charging repels dust particles during outdoor exploration.
