Founded in 2007, SANCA is a Japanese brand that forgoes strict concepts in favor of three guiding principles: Made in Japan, blending the old and the new, and creating pieces the designers themselves want to wear.







15.5oz denim woven on vintage shuttle looms
This denim is made on old-style shuttle looms and features a 15.5oz selvedge construction. Though substantial in weight, the fabric retains a soft hand and natural structure without stiffness.

Each pair is carefully hand-finished by skilled craftsmen to achieve a natural, worn-in fade. The texture and depth of the weave give the fabric a vintage character with a richly dimensional look.



Crafted on one of the few remaining vintage shuttle looms, the warp threads are set under a gentle tension, allowing the fabric to be woven slowly and deliberately.

Experienced artisans beat in the weft with care, enhancing the yarns original texture while producing a distinct, tactile twill grain. Sewing is handled by a top-tier factory in Niimi, Okayama, using vintage-style methods such as adjusting thread weight, stitch count, and thread color by part for a refined finish down to the last detail.

The classic 5-pocket design is enhanced with tough rivets, a button fly, and laurel-wreath top buttonfeatures that showcase SANCAs deep respect for vintage craftsmanship.







Inside, a custom-printed pocket lining and a small leather patch at the back add playful SANCA touches. A subtle personality shines through these understated design elements.



The selvedge edge peeking out when rolled is a delight for denim loversboth a stylish accent and proof of authentic shuttle loom construction, promising durability and satisfying aging over time.





A silhouette that stands out
The cut offers generous room through the thighs, then tapers cleanly from the knee down. With ample space around the hips, it suits various body types, especially athletic builds.

The slightly cropped 9/10 length keeps things neat and pairs well with a variety of shoes or socksideal for rolling up without bulk. Its a thoughtfully balanced fit that blends ease and style.
