Founded in 2007, FilMelange is a cut-and-sewn brand that develops every process in-housefrom carefully selecting raw cotton to spinning, knitting, and sewing. With a strong commitment to Japanese craftsmanship, the brand also fosters the training of future artisans in its own factory.







Exceptional smoothness and natural luster from rare cotton
Using extra-long staple cotton, which makes up only a few percent of the worlds cotton yield, selected under FilMelanges strict standards.

The long fibers create a luxuriously smooth hand feel and natural sheen. With wear, the fabric becomes softer over time, allowing you to enjoy its evolving character.



Specially engineered yarn is knitted on custom-made machines in Wakayama, operated only by highly skilled artisans.

The knitting density is finely adjusted, with precision down to the way the stitches show, resulting in a fabric that balances body and suppleness while resisting distortion over time.

The neckline is finished in a simple crew style with a fine rib knit, adding a touch of minimal sophistication.



The cuffs are made with thicker ribs that highlight the quality of the fabriccomfortable without tightness, yet subtly structured.



Constructed with tubular knitting for a seamless body, eliminating bulk at the sides. Beyond fit, the meticulous detailing lends refinement and understated elegance.
