A blank-body label from Japan, created by Toyoshima a well-known textile trading company. Launched in 2025 under the creative direction of Kazunori and Kanji Yamanobe (co-founders of A Bathing Ape), the brand focuses on timeless Japanese-made apparel inspired by '90s silhouettes and materials. From spinning to knitting and sewing, all production is done in Japan.
The goal: to create everyday essentials that transcend age, gender, and nationality.
Premium Japanese Denim
Crafted from 15oz selvedge denim, woven slowly on vintage shuttle looms in Japan. The result is a fabric that balances texture, structure, and durability. The yarn is #6 single ring-spun, made from natural brown cotton. Its rich surface texture and earthy hue will gradually emerge over time as it fades.
Shrinkage Notice
These jeans are made from raw (unwashed) denim and are designed to shrink after the first wash. Expect an overall shrinkage of approximately 6% in length and width. This is intentional the fabric is cut slightly long and large to allow for natural shrinkage and to help the jeans mold to your body over time.
What to Expect:
- Waist will shrink by ~2 inches (5 cm)
- Inseam will shrink by ~2 inches (5 cm)
- Thigh and hem will slim down slightly
- The texture will soften with each wear and wash
Recommendations:
- Wash once before hemming for the best final length
- Choose your size based on post-wash measurements (see our size chart)
- Wear regularly to let the jeans adapt to your shape and develop a natural fade

Notes on Black Color
The raw black version may appear slightly light at first, but washing will remove the starch and bring out a deeper, richer tone.

Q: What does 15oz denim feel like?
At 15oz, this denim starts off feeling solid and structured ideal for those who enjoy a sturdy, long-lasting pair.
Over time, it softens and molds to you, becoming a second skin.
Q: How much will it shrink?
Approximately 6% in both length and width after the first wash.
Thats about 2 inches off the waist and inseam.
We recommend washing once before hemming and checking our post-wash size chart when choosing your size.
Q: Should I size up?
Not necessarily. The jeans are already cut slightly larger to account for shrinkage.
Stick with your regular size and refer to the post-wash measurements as your guide.
Q: Can I return or exchange if the fit isnt right?
Yes we accept returns or exchanges as long as the jeans are unwashed and unworn.

Q: Can I hem them before wearing?
We strongly recommend washing once before hemming.
