Founded in 2011 by two designers who wanted to enjoy fashion in the mountains and nature just as in the city. and wander creates items that blend a stimulating sense of high fashion with the practical functionality of outdoor wear.
ALTRA
Born in Utah, USA in 2009, ALTRA is known as the pioneer of Zero Drop shoes, which eliminate height differences between the toe and heel. The brand has rapidly grown to capture a quarter of the U.S. trail running market, standing out in the highly competitive running industry.
Reliable functionality, expressive design
The ALTRA and wander collaboration model Lone Peak 9 Plus combines the high performance of a trail running shoe with and wanders refined use of bold graphic prints and color.
Dark green and orange accents bring a fashion-forward edge, balancing outdoor functionality with a sophisticated look that works seamlessly in daily life.
Lightweight strength with reinforced ripstop mesh
The upper construction is designed for durability and protection. The tightly woven ripstop mesh prevents dust and fine sand from entering while enhancing tear resistance.
Seamless overlay panels add further durability, while the dual-layer toe guard protects the forefoot against rocks, roots, and other obstacles. The updated mesh pattern improves breathability while resisting abrasion, ensuring performance on rugged trails.
The fit around the instep and heel has also been refined for a more natural, comfortable feel. This design provides lasting support, reducing fatigue and making long-distance hikes more manageable.
A functional Velcro strap at the heel integrates with the Gaiter Trap hook, allowing secure attachment of waterproof gaiters to block out mud and debris on the trail.
Cushioning and fit designed for long-distance support
The ALTRA EGO midsole absorbs impact while boosting energy return. The updated last design improves overall fit, helping to reduce fatigue. A soft, cradle-like heel construction ensures comfort even during extended activity.
The lightweight, responsive ALTRA EGO foam midsole provides cushioning with a stack height of around 25mm, offering both comfort and ground feel.
The outsole uses Vibram MegaGrip, a high-performance rubber compound trusted in mountaineering boots. It delivers excellent traction on wet rock, muddy trails, and steep climbs. The updated lug pattern further enhances stability on uneven ground.
The innovative outsole design provides secure footing on slippery terrain, reducing the risk of falls. Adaptable across diverse conditions, it ensures reliable performance for trail running, hiking, and long-distance walking.
